Aster Group brings affordable new homes to Maybush, Southampton

Aster Group and Southampton City Council were in Maybush today to celebrate the completion of nine new homes in the city.

Located on the site of the former Bush Inn on the corner of Maybush Road and Wimpson Lane, ethical developer and landlord Aster has worked with Feltham Construction over the past year to develop nine new homes for affordable rent.

They include three two-bedroom homes, three three-bedroom homes and three three-bedroom flats including a flat specially adapted for a wheelchair user. All of the homes are now occupied and will be managed by Aster Group.

Aster’s ambitious development programme aims to deliver thousands of new homes through a range of home ownership and rental options over next seven years.
