Apprenticeship at Aster opens doors

Holly Herlock joined Aster as an apprentice in 2012 and since then has been working hard to develop her career in housing. 

She is now a ‘Right to Buy’ advisor and has recently got on the property ladder herself, through shared ownership with Aster. 

Holly says: 

“Working at Aster made me more aware of my personal housing situation, and knowing a bit about shared ownership already, that seemed like the best option for me. 

“I applied for a shared ownership property and my application was successful. I got the keys to my house on 20 July.

“I’m really pleased that I’ve managed to get my foot on the property ladder, through shared ownership with Aster. 

“Having my own space and being able to gradually purchase more of my property in the future, is really exciting and motivates me to work hard.”
