Celebrating National Customer Service Week
Earlier in the month we celebrated National Customer Service Week and joined lots of other organisations across the UK recognising the importance we place on of giving you a great service every day.
We chatted to one of our housing officers who recently carried out an apprenticeship to learn more skills, and shared a blog from Sharon Bye, our Director of Care, about how we’re making sure our care professionals are supported to do their roles.

What qualification have you achieved? Matt: Level 3 Housing/Property Management Apprenticeship.
Why did you decide to carry out this qualification? Matt: To feel confident in performing my role as a housing professional. I felt it would give me the confidence to perform effectively.
How did Aster support you to be able to study? Matt: My manager has been very understanding with the workload, she has worked with me to create plans to manage my time most effectively.
Would you recommend doing a qualification to others? Matt; Yes. In the changing regulatory environment, the professionalisation of our service is increasingly important.
