Have your say on new consumer standards
The Regulator of Social Housing wants to hear your thoughts on the revised regulatory consumer standards.
The draft standards – which build on and replace five existing consumer standards - set the expectations which landlords, like us, must meet.
The proposed consumer standards are:
- The Safety and Quality Standard
- The Transparency, Influence and Accountability Standard
- The Neighbourhood and Community Standard
- The Tenancy Standard
- A Code of Practice (this provides landlords with examples of how they might make sure they're meeting the standards)
You can read more on the revised consumer standards here.
If you’d like to get involved, complete this short survey via the Regulator’s website. Click on this link to get started.
(Please note the regulator advises customers to read the supporting documents before answering their questions.)
This consultation closes on 17 October 2023. The regulator will read all responses and a final set of standards will be introduced from April 2024.
