Investing in customers’ homes

As part of our work to continue to invest in our homes, over the last 12 months we’ve continued to refurbish the communal areas of some of our Independent Living Schemes.

We’re refurbishing living room and dining areas, refreshing reception spaces and updating the offices.

In a scheme in Andover, Hampshire we’ve recently introduced the Independent Living Service to the former General Needs block.

Customers have been involved in the entire refurbishment process, and here’s what one customer had to say about the refurbishments: “We are using the communal area more now and doing more in there like coffee mornings, art group and tai chi. It is a lot tidier, and the carpet is much better, lighter and overall it’s nicer. Now the areas are much nicer, it will make a huge impact our mental health.”
