Know your rights about Anti-Social Behaviour

As part of our commitment to keeping you safe in your home, we’re supporting this year’s Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) week. The theme is ‘know your rights’, and as part of this we want to make sure you know what support is on hand if you experience ASB in or around your home.

If you experience ASB we know it can have a huge impact on your life, which is why we have a dedicated team to help tackle ASB in your community.

We work with the police, local councils, environmental health and other support services to help customers every day. 

You can call us on 0333 400 8222 to report ASB, or if a crime’s been committed and you need to speak to the police, call 111 or in an emergency, 999.

The Community Trigger

The Community Trigger, also known as an ASB Case Review, can also help you to get further support if ASB is continuing to be an issue in your area.

You can ask for an ASB Case Review through your local authority. It’s been designed to give you, as the victim, the right to demand that agencies like the police, the local authority and NHS deal with persistent anti-social behaviour.

The ASB Case Review process will attempt to ultimately fix the problem and devise an action plan to resolve the behaviour.
