Registering your appliances

If a manufacturer identifies a problem with an appliance you have bought they may need to contact you so that they can either recall or repair it. 

It’s often very difficult for manufacturers to trace you, so it makes sense to register your appliance centrally so that if a manufacturer needs to contact you quickly about something you’ve bought they can do so easily.
