Reporting unemptied bins

Is your bin not being collected? 

There may be a few reasons why your recycling and rubbish bins haven’t been picked up by your local council.  

- Are you putting the correct bin out?

Remember, some councils collect recycling and rubbish bins on different days.

- Is your bin out at the right time?

Make sure you put your bin out the night before it needs to be collected. Some councils start collections at 6:30am.  

- Is your bin too full?

If your bin is too heavy or contains electrical goods and gardening waste it won’t be collected.  To report a missed bin, get in touch with your local council.
