Support for parents with childcare costs

Did you know Universal Credit has increased the money you can get to cover the costs of childcare? Parents can now claim up to £951 a month for one child or £1,630 for two or more children.

It’s also now easier to claim so that you can pay for childcare up front.

These changes may make you better off on Universal Credit rather than older style benefits such as income support and tax credits.
