Tackling anti-social behaviour

When you experience anti-social behaviour (ASB) we know it can have a huge impact on your life, which is why we have a dedicated team to help tackle ASB in your community. This could be issues relating to noise nuisances, threats of violence, drug-related activity and youth anti-social behaviour to name a few.

We’ll always do our best to help you if you’re having problems so please let us know. It is also important to try speaking calmly to those involved. They might not realise the impact of what they’re doing and sometimes a friendly word can put things right. If this isn’t the right thing to do, or doesn’t work, we’ll investigate your report.

Some ASB issues may also be crimes, so please contact the police if you experience criminal activity.

Our team works with the police, local councils, environmental health and other support services to help customers every day.
