Volunteering for Wellington Academy

Gordon Moody, one of our painter and decorators, recently took advantage of one of 150 volunteering days to help renovate a new radio station at Wellington Academy in Tidworth, Hampshire.

He helped finish the year-long project by painting the studio and surrounding corridors. 

Baz Reiley, a teacher and presenter on the radio said: “I can’t thank Aster enough for arranging for Gordon to help with the finishing touches. Without his help it would have taken a lot longer to finish. He did a great job and put in a lot of extra time to ensure it was all finished. 

“Lots of people have commented on how good the studio looks. It looks professional, it’s great to work in, but most importantly the kids love it too.”
