Volunteering for Wiltshire Wildlife Hospital
During National Apprenticeship Week, some of our apprentices and other colleagues came together to volunteer at Wiltshire Wildlife Hospital.
Marilyn Korkis, wildlife care supervisor from Wiltshire Wildlife Hospital, said: “The work done will make a fantastic amount of difference to the baby deer. It’ll give them peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the hospital. It’s just fantastic.”
Mike Gale, head of operations at Aster, said: “This is a great way to get our apprentices involved in a local charity and do some good for our community. It’s been great to see the team use the practical skills they’ve been learning at college, and more importantly it’s more about seeing them work together as a team and with the team at the Wiltshire Wildlife Hospital."
