Electric charging points

As electric cars become more common, we've seen a rise in customers asking permission to install charging points at their home. If you'd like to install a charging point you'll need to write to us to request permission ensure that any works completed comply with regulation.

If you'd like to install a point within the area of land of the home you rent from us, known as the curtilage, permission will not be unreasonably withheld. However at the moment we're unable to grant permission for a charging point to be installed on communal land which is owned by us. We continue to review our position and are speaking with our partner agencies such as local authorities about plans to install community charging points in areas where we have homes.
